Lovely quote.

Funny, I thought the northerners think of us as southern softies, particularly West Ham.

They need to make their minds up, perhaps roles are reversed and it is northern softies these days.

Complete bollocks from the scouser.

Can't wait until I go to work Tuesday and see the scouser. He never watches games and only reads the papers.
But I have no doubt he will say we were lucky and the ref was on our side etc etc....

Typical scouser really.

Re: Things I Learned tonight

this is one thing i learned tonight from a post on the scousers website
i wear claret and blue specs usually but come on.....

Allardyce the only one living up to his own standard today. We were shit, Rodgers' decision to change the CBs again was shit enough by itself (there's more debates to be had about other tactical issues), and the ref was fucking shit. West Ham played like thugs, were allowed to play like thugs, got away with playing like thugs, and got a thug result - all noise and no quality.

So the Scousers aren't at all bitter then?

Whether or not his leg was up, Liverpool are the most cynical cheats in the Premiership and I just can't dig ANY of our players out after a performance like that.

Now's the time to celebrate.

Was never a booking, but it's still tempting fate.

Adriane was fired up and put borotelli in his place.
I loved seeing his passion. That's the attitude needed to win games.
The pricks on MOTD said he should have been sent off.Being West Ham I'm fucking delighted at the way things are finally working out.

just watched replay. legs were up well before Borini managed to get near. my mistake, no card

Re: Things I Learned tonight
Fair enough but personally I've never seen a keeper sent off unless he's wiped out a player in a goal-scoring position or handled outside his area.

Loads of keepers put both knees out as they catch a ball and I've seen players knocked sparko as their heads connect with their knees. Genuinely nasty cunts like Arsenal's Lehman would have got sent off every week.

Re: Things I Learned tonight
Celebrating a goal and showing passion is great. Needlessly pushing players and getting booked is some dozy shit (Second time in two home matches) as was leaving his foot up on Borini, which he fortunately got away with considering the ref and linos gave them anything they could for the most part.

He needs to wind it in, or it'll cost us.

did see it and loved it. but i liked Noble telling him to watch is head. different post if he got a 2nd yellow for his legs up in 2nd half.

loved his passion and he kept turning to us during game but there is a time and a place.

i aint gonna smack a spud fan in front of old bill, id do it slyly. his moments of passion and sometimes too obvious

Re: Things I Learned tonight
I think you'd be a bit easier on Adriane if you saw how potty he went after the last goal went in. He ran towards Chav corner screaming his fucking head off, pumping his fists like we'd just won the World Cup...again.

That boy certainly gets excited and personally I love it. Try keeping your cool when Balotelli smashes himself into you with no intention of winning the ball and every intention of hurting you badly. Not easy.
